December 16th , 2025 —

PrediQT Technologies announces the finalization of a €4M seed round led by Quantonation to build GPU- and quantum-native Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) for propulsion, energy, aerospace, weather forecasting and beyond.

PrediQTT, a computational physics company building next-generation simulation software, today announced the finalization of a €4 million seed financing.

The round was led by Quantonation, with participation from two additional investors SlachCtech (Belgium) and Franck Brunel (France).

PrediQTT is building GPU- and quantum-native computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software focused on high-fidelity scale resolving accuracy, starting with a GPU-first platform today and extending to quantum acceleration as hybrid computers become production-ready.

The company’s approach is designed to deliver major performance gains for high-fidelity fluid simulation—targeting the speed, scale, and iteration cycles required for demanding applications across propulsion, energy, aerospace, weather forecasting and other physics-driven industries.

Charles Hirsch, co-founder, President and CSO: said

Our mission is to create the next generation of scale resolving CFD software at industrial level, relying on the most advanced numerical and modelling methodologies and to guide industry towards the upcoming Quantum Computers.

PrediQT Technologies is founded by a team with deep roots in CFD and decades of experience building and scaling industry-grade simulation software. The founding team previously built NUMECA, a leading CFD company, initially created and developed by Charles Hirsch and Marc Tombroff, and acquired in 2021 by Cadence Design Systems”.

Marc Tombroff, co-Founder and CEO of PrediQTT: said

Recent advances in numerical algorithms, GPUs, HPC, quantum technology, and AI have opened new doors for innovative CFD software, driven by significant industrial demand for high-fidelity fluid simulation across the full operating spectrum of their products as well as for high-fidelity local weather predictions. We have completed our initial investment round and keep the momentum to deliver the first industrial software for Scale-Resolved CFD.”

“PrediQTT brings together rare technical depth and a clear industrial vision,” said Olivier Tonneau, Managing Partner at Quantonation. “The team has a strong track record in building and scaling CFD software, and a thoughtful roadmap to leverage modern compute architectures, from GPUs today to quantum acceleration over time. We’ve been impressed by both the ambition and the execution, and we’re pleased to support PrediQTT at this stage of its development.

With this funding, PrediQTT will accelerate development of its platform, expand its engineering and physics team, and deepen collaborations with early design partners”.

About PrediQT

PrediQT Technologies is building a new generation of Computational Fluid Dynamics for industry and weather forecasting. As most industrial and environmental flows are dominated by turbulence, achieving reliable, high-fidelity simulation remains one of the most computationally demanding challenges in science. With the end of traditional computing scaling and the emergence of new numerical methods, AI, and advanced computing paradigms, PrediQT was founded to fundamentally rethink high-fidelity CFD—unlocking a step change in accuracy, reliability, and industrial impact.

About Quantonation

Quantonation is the first early-stage VC fund dedicated to deep physics and quantum technologies. Fields such as high-performance computation, secure communications, drug design, or ultra-precise sensing are now driven by innovation based on these disruptive technologies. Quantonation aims at supporting their transition into commercially available products. Quantonation is headquartered in Paris, France, and in Boston, USA, with investments in Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific.
